DogFlow is course management software for dog schools in Switzerland. Puppy class, adolescent class and private lessons, the dogs that attend them and the invoices afterwards all live in the same workspace.
The situation
Teaching the class is the easy part. Everything around it eats your evenings.
Sign-ups arrive by phone, chat and e-mail. The roster is a printout in the car, the note about Luna's vaccination sits in a chat thread, and only the trainer who taught on Saturday knows who was missing.
At the end of the month it gets tedious: who attended which course, who has already received an invoice, and does Wednesday's puppy class still have a free place?

A course series in one step
A course that takes place every Tuesday is entered once: weekly or on the weekdays you choose, with up to 52 dates.
Roster and attendance
Every sign-up belongs to one owner and one dog. In the course you record for each dog whether it was present, absent or excused.
Dog profile and training logs
The dog's profile holds breed, age, vaccinations, health and behaviour notes and the training goals. After the lesson you note the exercises, the progress, the homework and the next focus.
A calendar for the whole team
The calendar shows all courses by month, week, day or as a list and can be filtered by trainer. Staff with a trainer account see only their own courses.
Invoices after the course
When the course is over, you complete it. DogFlow creates a draft invoice for every participant, with the Swiss QR-bill if you want it.

Questions about course management
Can I run puppy classes, adolescent classes and private lessons in the same system?
Yes. Every course is either a group class with a number of places that you set, or a private lesson for one dog. You choose title, description, location and price for each course.
How many trainers can work with DogFlow?
That depends on the plan. Starter is meant for one person, Advanced for up to three and Pro for up to five trainers. Larger schools use the Scale plan, with a number of seats by agreement.
What happens when a course has to be called off?
You cancel the course. It gets the status "Cancelled" and can no longer be booked. The sign-ups stay visible so that you can inform the owners. DogFlow does not send an automatic cancellation e-mail.
Can I bring my existing client list with me?
Yes. Owners can be imported from a CSV file. DogFlow provides a template and shows after the import which rows were taken over and which were skipped. You then add the dogs in the owner's profile.
